Indiana troopers inspected over 8,700 commercial vehicles during June enforcement period

Indiana State Police (ISP) troopers inspected thousands of commercial vehicles during the June 2026 enforcement period.

The agency released results from ISP’s Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division (CVED) for May 15 through June 15, 2026.

See below for results:

  • Total CMV Inspections Completed – 8,736
  • Total Out-of-Service Drivers – 476
  • Total Out-of-Service Vehicles – 524
  • Total Number of Oversize Violations – 39
  • Total Number of Overweight Violations – 257

ISP CVED conducted significantly more inspections during the June enforcement period than the previous May enforcement period.

See below for the April 15 through May 15, 2026, results from the agency.

  • Total CMV Inspections Completed – 4,694
  • Total Out-of-Service Drivers – 505
  • Total Out-of-Service Vehicles – 642
  • Total Number of Oversize Violations – 36
  • Total Number of Overweight Violations – 259
